BioOne announced today the appointment of Nicole Colovos to the newly created Director of Marketing role.

Nicole brings to BioOne over 16 years of agency experience in design and marketing communications. As director of marketing she will help to set strategy, execute marketing programs and promote BioOne in the community.

“We are delighted to announce the creation of a new marketing department, and the appointment of Nicole as our first Director of Marketing,” said Susi Skomal, BioOne’s executive director. “Nicole led our recent rebranding and the architectural development and design of its new website launched in January 2009. The results have given BioOne a fresh new identity that has been extended into sophisticated, yet simple to use website design. Nicole managed the yearlong effort with a thoughtful perspective and diplomatic process that brought out the best in BioOne as we worked on the project together.”

In her most recent role as VP for Strategic Development at Bremmer & Goris, Nicole worked with clients to define and communicate their brand and provided strategic planning for large, multi-faceted campaigns. She was responsible for ensuring that marketing communications included relevant tactics and sound concepts to build brand equity and advance a client’s mission.  Prior to her position as VP for Strategic Development, Nicole launched the web design & development department at Bremmer & Goris. Her efforts included developing, planning, managing and delivering digital projects of all sizes.
