BioOne Announces Free Society Member Access

Building upon our continuing efforts to provide BioOne participating publishers and their membership with new services and benefits, we are delighted to announce the Free BioOne Society Member Access Program. This groundbreaking program offers societies the option to provide their members free access to their publications on BioOne through referring URL authentication from a secure log-in area on the society website.

While the former Individual Access Program required participants to contract with Allen Press and incur a yearly charge of $1,000 plus $0.50 per member, this new program makes member access available to eligible BioOne publishers at absolutely no cost!

We sincerely hope that all BioOne participating societies will take advantage of the Free Society Member Access program, which provides a tangible benefit to society members, drives traffic to and brands the society website, and increases journal usage and accessibility. Please contact us for more information and instructions on how to sign-up your society, or refer to documentation available on the BioOne website. We look forward to working with you to implement this exciting service which benefits BioOne societies, their members, and the greater scholarly community.
